This summit celebrated the CARE Act’s many successes thus far, shared learnings and highlighted promising practices from the law’s implementation, and discussed potential next steps in research and advocacy. Invitees included AARP staff, the research community, family caregivers, health systems and hospitals, policymakers, managed care plans and other key stakeholders.
Presented by the AARP Public Policy Institute (PPI) and the State Advocacy and Strategy Integration (SASI) team. The livestream took place on November 8, 2017 from 8:30-12:40 PM EST and 2:10-5:00 PM EST.
