Real Possibilities with Jay Stone Shih: CarFit, “The Talk”

In addition to living a healthy life, being able to drive independently with confidence is also an important part of aging. In this program, the participants will focus on the 12 points used to adjust their driving posture, such as adjusting the driver’s seat, adjusting the distance from the steering wheel, and adjusting the rear-view mirrors to minimize blind spots. Use AARP smart drive resources to help you evaluate your own and other seniors around you on their driving techniques, understanding of new rules and regulations, safe driving behavior, the effects of medication and aging on driving, and the newest and latest technology in cars, so that you can have more confidence in your driving, leading to better mobility for a more independent life with no limitations.
