Ingredients
- Chocolate, caramel or butterscotch syrup, to taste
- 1 ice cream cone (plain or sugar)
- Candy or fruit of choice, chopped*, to taste
- 2 marshmallows
Directions
Drizzle syrup on the inside of ice cream cone to coat. Put a small amount of candy or fruit in the bottom of the cone. Roast the marshmallows. Once the marshmallows are roasted, insert one into the cone, using a knife or spoon to push the marshmallow as far into the cone as possible. Top with a second layer of candy or fruit. Add second roasted marshmallow and top with final layer of candy or fruit.
Variation
For a giant-size parfait, use a waffle cone and create as many marshmallow/candy layers as you can. Flavored marshmallows work great!
Try these yummy flavor combinations:
- Oreo cookie pieces, chopped nuts and sprinkles
- Mixed berries and chocolate (all layers)
- Dark chocolate, espresso beans and chopped biscotti pieces
- Chopped peaches, blueberries and strawberries
- Strawberries, Mounds bar and pineapple
- Chocolate with rice crisps, chocolate with nuts, and chocolate with cornflakes
- Dark chocolate, milk chocolate and white chocolate
- Andes mints, Junior Mints and Peppermint Patties
