Frozen waffles sold under several popular national labels and store brands have been recalled for potential contamination with listeria, a foodborne pathogen that poses a serious risk to people 65 and older
The issue was discovered during routine testing at the production facility, the manufacturer TreeHouse foods said in a statement.
There have been no reports of illness linked to the recalled products.
The recalled frozen waffles
Consumers are advised to check their freezers for any of the products below and throw them out or return them to the place of purchase for a refund. Additional questions can be made to the company at 800-596-2903.
To check if a specific package is included in the recall, locate the UPC on the back of the carton, and the lot code and best by date on the end of the carton. You can find those details on the recall announcement page, and product images are available for reference here.
