Chipotle
Guacamole will be free on Feb. 29 for reward members using the code EXTRA24 at checkout on the app or ordering online. Throughout the week, the Mexican fast-casual chain has challenged its Instagram followers to uncover hidden words in its posts for a chance to win free guacamole for a year. Insomnia Cookies
Customers who buy any six- or 12-pack of cookies will be treated to an extra classic cookie for free through Sunday, March 3. The cookie chain is hosting a party on Feb. 29 in stores for those with a leap day birthday. Show your ID to claim your birthday gift: six free classic cookies.
Wendy’s
The fast-food chain celebrates the extra day on the calendar and the addition of a new item, the Cinnabon Pull-Apart, by offering it for free during breakfast hours on Feb. 29. The Cinnabon Pull-Apart is cinnamon dough bites served with cream cheese frosting in a convenient cup. Customers can claim it at the drive-through or in stores until 10:30 a.m. local time while supplies last. No other purchase is necessary.
Legal Sea Foods
Treat yourself to two lobsters for $29 at Legal Sea Foods on Feb. 29. The deal is available for dine-in customers only (except at airport locations), while supplies last on the leap day. Sides are not included in the deal but can be ordered a la carte. If you enroll in the restaurant’s rewards program on Feb. 29, you can receive 229 points, worth more than $10 in savings.
Dunkin’
Dunkin’ Rewards members can get a medium cinnamon vanilla coffee for $2 on leap day when ordering through the mobile app. Members will get four times the points on that day as well.
Krispy Kreme
Krispy Kreme is offering a dozen of its original glazed donuts for $2.29 with the purchase of a regularly priced dozen. Customers with a leap day birthday can receive a free glazed dozen with no purchase when they show their ID in stores.
Papa Murphy’s
The take-and-bake pizza company is giving customers 29 percent off their online orders of $20 or more. Use the code LEAP24 on Feb. 29 to redeem the offer.
Jeremiah’s Italian Ice
The Italian ice chain with 140 locations throughout 11 states will roll back prices for its J-List reward members on Feb. 29. Rewards club members can enjoy a 96-cent small gelato or Italian ice treat. Larger and specialty items will be normally priced.
Paris Baguette
Stop at a Paris Baguette location for a 29-cent medium coffee — hot or iced — with any purchase.
