Friendly’s

Through July 21, Friendly’s is offering single-scoop cones for 89 cents in celebration of National Ice Cream Day and the restaurant’s 89th anniversary. Any member who joins the Fan Club in July, can get a Fribble (Friendly’s version of a thick milkshake) for $2 throughout the rest of the month.  

Gopuff

Users of the food delivery company will find discounts for various ice-cream brands through July 21. On Sunday, customers who purchase $30 or more will receive a free pint of Talenti Gelato, applied at checkout. (Flavors and availability vary by location, and the offer is only available while supplies last.) Gopuff FAM members can also get 40 percent off dozens of ice-cream products throughout the week, and shop $1 deals on ice-cream sandwiches, pops, bars and sticks. Other deals through July 21 include:

Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams

From July 20 through Aug. 2, select limited-time flavors will be available for $8 a pint. Rewards members get early access to the discount, starting on July 19. The discounted flavors include Nebula Berry (blueberry and raspberry flavors with an elderflower fragrance), Cosmic Bloom (a tropical flavor including mandarin, kiwi and passion fruit), Purple Star Born (grape and blackcurrant flavors), Supermoon (flavors of candied violet and marshmallows) and Fluffernutter Pie (roasted peanut butter and vanilla marshmallow ice creams with oat pie crust pieces).  

McConnell’s Fine Ice Creams

The California-based ice-cream shop is offering ice-cream lovers nationwide 15 percent off all pints on their site from July 19 to July 21. Use the code NICD24 at checkout to redeem. California locals can buy three pints and get the fourth one free in-store.  

Tropicana and Milk Bar

The brands are partnering to introduce a new Orange Squeeze flavor available at Milk Bar locations throughout the U.S., through Uber Eats, DoorDash and Seamless and through a giveaway. The ice cream will cost $7 for a cup or $13 for a pint. Fans can enter the giveaway by commenting on an ice-cream or juice memory on the brands’ Instagram accounts (@tropicana_juices and @milkbarstore) using #TropicanaMilkBar #Sweepstakes. The prize includes an ice-cream maker and ingredients to make the Orange Squeeze.  

Salt and Straw

The Portland-based ice-cream shop with locations throughout six states is offering a deal through which customers can buy three pints and get one free when ordering for pickup or local delivery. When ordering for national shipping, customers can buy five pints and get one free. Both offers are available from July 19 to 21 using the code NICD2024 at checkout. Find a location near you.  

Shake Shack

Each Friday through Sept. 6, customers can get a free shake with a minimum order of $10. Use the code SWEETSPOT on the Shake Shack app, online or at an in-store kiosk.  

Van Leeuwen Ice Cream
