Trips to the beach, backyard barbecues and lazy days in the pool aren’t the only hallmarks of summer, at least in 2022. Consumers can add pricier sunscreens, bathing suits and other warm-weather gear to the list, thanks to 40-year high inflation, which is running at 8.3 percent as of April.
