Mix flexible hours and good pay with health care and retirement benefits and you get a job that can be a good match for many older workers.

According to a recent survey from Indeed Flex, one-third of retirees are considering working between one and three shifts per week of temporary or part-time work. The money these shifts offer can stretch retirement savings, and the additional benefits that some companies are now offering part-time employees can boost the financial benefits even further. Employee discounts of up to 50 percent, pension benefits, health care, pet insurance and annual bonuses are some of the benefits some employees can now earn if they work just 20 hours per week.

The following 15 companies, listed alphabetically, offer at least some benefits to part-time workers. The benefits described here for each company are highlights, not a complete summary of the benefits that may be available. Clicking on the “Search for” link will take you to either a list of available postings from that company on the AARP Job Board or that particular company’s job board.
