Pilates Anytime: Expand With Your Breath

Class 5 in our Begin Pilates video series further teaches how proper breathing benefits exercise

Video run time is 46 minutes.

Welcome to the fifth class of instructor Erin Wilson’s Begin Pilates series, from Pilates Anytime, an online streaming platform.

Awareness of your breath is essential to your Pilates practice. In this mat class, you will use your breath to bring attention to certain areas of your body, which will allow tension to ease and create new space that allows the breath to move more fluidly.

Suggested prop: towel, blanket or pillow to sit up comfortably.

Please consult your physician before beginning any exercise program.

Read about the lifelong benefits of Pilates.
