Take 5 Minutes to Work Your Core Muscles

Build and maintain strength in your obliques and back in this intermediate class

Video run time is 6 minutes, 49 seconds.
Courtesy: LIFT session

Without regular strength training, your core muscle fibers can shrink and become less flexible. This five-minute intermediate class targets your core and lower back muscles while improving your posture and building functional strength. This will be done by performing a variety of exercises that engage and strengthen your midline, including mountain climbers, bicycle crunches and leg lifts. You only need a mat for this workout.

Remember to maintain regular breathing throughout and take breaks as needed. If you feel any resistance or pain, stretch carefully without overextending yourself.

Please consult your physician before beginning any exercise program.
